Get Behind the Wheel and Drive!
Taking a moment this morning to replay the weekend's events. Let's see, there were ups and there were downs. There were successes and there were failures. There were smiles and there were tears. There were wins and there were losses. Through it all, we each made it to Monday, which is a new day, and it's another opportunity to chase after our dreams.
Let's not allow our successes to make us complacent or our losses deter us from the mission that lay ahead. Lock arms with those going in the same direction as you and stay encouraged, inspired, positive, and motivated.
You are a champion and destined for greatness! Now is the time to grab those keys, get behind the wheel, and just drive.
Go get what you came for! Let's get it.

My DreamTrips Platinum Package Arrives
My DreamTrips Platinum welcome package finally arrived in the mail yesterday. I am EXTREMELY excited about taking those next level VIP experiences with friends.
After 18 amazing getaways over the past 2.5 years, it was time to upgrade and see what the next level adventure looks like...feels like. I don't want to take just few average vacations, I want to spend a lifetime of enjoying the best of the best. Today is my first step in that direction.
So, what's included? Well, I get a fresh "You Should Be Here" banner, which is a staple for any memorable moment. In addition, there is a leather passport holder, welcome letter, and full-color brochure that outlines all of the services I have access to. Sweet!

Day 4: Back and Biceps
Good morning! It is Day 4 (back and biceps).
As I finish my first meal of the day and prepare to hit the gym, I wanted to stop in and wish you an amazing day.
I am happy to report that I did come home last night and finish my last meal, which was 10 egg whites, before going to bed. That was after getting the urge to eat something not so healthy, most likely something found at a fast food restaurant.
Remember, celebrate the daily disciplines for they lead to the results. Excuses lead to nothingness. Just get it done!
Let's go get what we came for, Champions!

Decide to Live Your Dream Life
One of the most challenging parts of restricting meals is the urge to snack on unhealthy foods. Chips, burgers, fries, pizza, or ice cream can throw a wrench in your plans. Recognize that you get stronger when you face the temptation and say, "No!"
Take a moment to reflect on what you want. Remember WHY you started and focus on the life you're saying "Yes" to.
I'm getting the urge right now...it's natural, but I want the unnatural results, so I'm going home to cook some eggs for my final meal.
Day 3 of 84 coming to a close. Let's finish strong and wake tomorrow to beast out Day 4 (back and biceps).

UNC & NCCU's ULEAD Program Now Accepting Applications
You may recall, this was the leadership development program I recently graduated from. It taught me:
- How to inspire change through leadership skills
- How to be a coach
- How to negotiate strategically and effectively
- How to influence through appreciative leadership
If you are an up and coming leader within either UNC or NCCU, I would definitely recommend this program to you. Get your applications filled out and submitted before March 23, 2015.
Good luck!

What Something? It Means You Have To DO Something
One question I often ask is this, "If you continue doing what you're doing today, what will the next 5 years of your life look like?" As creatures of habit, we tend to do what we've always done. As a result, we continue to get what we've always received. To have something different, one has to DO something different.
My guess is that we tend to hold on to what we know versus taking risk to do something we don't know. Fortunately, the rewards are given to those who take risks. To those who step outside of their comfort zone.
Today is as good a day as any to just get comfortable being uncomfortable. Let's go make it a great day!
