Netflix and the CBS Corporation have recently announced a content licensing deal that will allow Netflix members to watch instantly all eight seasons of Dexter.
Beginning on October 31, the first four seasons will be available for immediate viewing followed by the remaining four seasons on January 1, 2014.
For those that have not seen the show, let me tell you that it is one of my personal favorites.
The SHOWTIME original tells a story about Dexter Morgan, a Miami forensics expert, who is also a serial killer. Thanks to a strict code, he learns to satisfy his need to kill by removing only the "bad" people. Interesting? Well, it gets better when we find ourselves in love with the character and rooting for his survival.
Clearly, Dexter is a man torn and conflicted, but we like it.
So, get ready for the holidays as Netflix and CBS have delivered a wonderful gift. Enjoy!
