Automatically Suggest Twitter Accounts To New Users

Yesterday, TechCrunch revealed a hidden feature on Twitter. For those interested in suggesting Twitter accounts to new users, you can now take advantage of the recent discovery. To create your personalized suggested user list, do the follow:

1. Create a List
2. Give the list a new name. It can be whatever you like. I called mine, "Suggested Users"
3. In the Description box, place the following hashtag, "#WelcomeToTwitter"
4. Place the privacy to "Public"
5. Click "Save list"

Once you complete the following steps, any new Twitter user that creates an account after visiting your profile will see your Suggested Users list. This is great for friends and family who don't know who to follow. This is also a wonderful idea for Universities that have multiple departments with Twitter accounts.
